Founder’s Story – A Journey of Passion, Tradition & Wellness

2013

Born in India, Sonam’s love for cooking was nurtured from a young age, deeply rooted in tradition and a passion for creating wholesome, flavorful meals. After marriage In 2013, she moved to Muscat, Oman, carrying with her the rich culinary heritage of North India.

2015

Her journey took a transformative turn in 2015 when she began exploring healthier ways to prepare Indian sweets and snacks, believing that food should be both delicious and nourishing. She also developed a deep expertise in "Vrat Ka Khaana"—specialized dishes crafted for fasting during Indian traditional occasions, ensuring they are light, pure, and full of flavor.

2016

By 2016, her passion turned into a heartfelt service as she started providing home-cooked food for family and friends during special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, and cultural gatherings in Muscat. The love and appreciation she received only strengthened her dream.

2025

Finally, in Feb 2025, Sonam took a bold step forward and launched her own multi-cuisine restaurant, bringing together her years of experience, love for traditional Indian flavors, and commitment to holistic cooking. At Sonam’s Kitchen, every dish is more than just food—it’s a story of love, health, and tradition served on a plate. Because when food is made with heart, it doesn’t just nourish the body, it touches the soul.
